My name is Noor Turk, and I am 23 years old. I am of Palestinian origin but was born in Arizona, United States. I spent nine years living in the United Arab Emirates before moving to pursue my bachelor's degree in Fashion Design at the Fashion Design Institute (FDI).
During my studies, I had the privilege of completing a four-month internship in London with the independent fashion brand FEBEN, which provided me with valuable industry experience. Currently, I am based in Florence, Italy, where I am pursuing my master’s degree in Fashion Business at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).
My passion for fashion began in childhood when my sister and I would create storylines for our Barbie dolls. I often found myself wanting to bring these stories to life through clothing, but when I couldn’t find the right outfits, I improvised using tissues, tape, and cut-out drawings of garments to complete my vision. As I grew older, I continued experimenting with different fabrics and textures, always asking myself, 'How do I feel today?' and dressing accordingly. Fashion has always been my way of self-expression, and I hope to continue discovering more about myself through my experiences in the Fashion industry.
